Project Summary:
Raising Cane’s Concept is simple: “Serve the best quality chicken finger meals”. They stand by this concept through quick and convenient service, through a limited menu of high quality products.
Wilkus Architects partnered with Raising Cane’s to bring this concept to reality in Apple Valley, MN. This 3,500 S.F. free-standing location adapted the well-known prototype to a new building, resulting in a fully-functioning drive-thru restaurant.
The Twin Cities north metro received a Raising Canes in 2015, with the Shoreview location opening for business that October.
The first Minneapolis, MN location took the same adaptation as the Apple Valley location to an existing building in Stadium Village at the University of Minnesota. A seperate Dinkytown location opened in April 2018 on the East Bank campus in the heart of Dinkytown, occupying the space that once was Pro-Cuts salon, providing students and locals another nearby option to get food quickly and conveniently.
Wilkus Architects provided full-scope services from schematic design through construction administration for all locations.
