With Forty-two years in the field, Michael has exceptional skills in management, design, contract documents, construction and construction observation. Michael’s rich and wide scope of experience prior to forming Wilkus Architects, PA led him to open and run his own successful firm. Michael was the Architect for a regional Design-Build firm for seven years. In addition to this, he was a Principal and co-owner of an Architectural Firm in the Twin Cities. His ample experience in the Architectural Profession includes projects such as office buildings, medical, restaurants, retail facilities, fitness, industrial structures, single and multi-family residential, senior housing recreation facilities, and municipal developments.

Michael enjoys spending his free time as a pilot, an artist in watercolor, woodworking, and bronze sculpture. He also has a love for the outdoors, whether it is hiking, camping, boating, or water-skiing.
