Project Summary:
Iron Exchange is an 8,200 square foot brewpub set on the edge of Maple Plain’s gateway district. Iron Exchange worked directly with Wilkus Architects and Historic Studio to create the design behind the brand. The result was an approachable interior with hints to downtown, but retains your sense of place. The 2,000 square foot dining room surrounds a 82’-0” long bar, setting the stage and views to the brewery beyond. A 1,200 square foot exhibition kitchen flanks the stage, yet competes for your attention. The dining room also includes two overhead garage doors on the West facade, booth seating, drink rail and dedicated dart section.
Wilkus Architects provided full scope design services from initial site assessment through construction administration, working closely with Dering Pierson Group and Historic Studio.
